As promised, Ubisoft today officially unveiled High Caliber, the fourth and final season of Year 6 of Rainbow Six Siege. The new season will introduce the Irish Operator Thorn, a revamped version of the Outback map, and more.
Brianna “Thorn” Skehan is a new Defender, unveiled with a teaser trailer last week, who uses Razorbloom Shells, or proximity devices that, once activated, trigger a timed detonation. Thorn is a medium armor and speed operator that can be equipped with the new UZK50Gi or the M870 as a primary weapon and with 1911 TACOPS or C75-AUTO as a secondary weapon.
There Outback map has been redesigned. The main building and outdoor area have been modified to allow Attackers to plan and implement more effective strategies. In addition, new destructible exterior walls have been added, while some areas have been refurbished and cleaned up to ensure better lines of fire.
The news doesn’t end there, here are the other changes coming with Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation High Caliber:
- The choice of team colors between blue, orange or red.
- Balance update (Finka, Echo and Mozzie drones, bulletproof cameras, new rules for outdoor cameras).
- New customization possibilities for Operator Cards, victory animations, colors and much more.
- New HUDs.
- A new version of Streamer Mode will be available later in the season for a limited number of creators.
The High Caliber Server Test will be online from November 9th. Additionally, double Battle Pass points can be earned from November 12-15.
