The Aemet warns of significant rainfall of up to 80mm in 12 hours in the Region
The State Meteorological Agency has updated the part of adverse phenomena in the Region of Murcia. During Wednesday afternoon, the episodes caused by the rains are mainly limited to the municipality of Mazarrón, where the Local Police have had to intervene to order traffic in the areas of Urbanización Bahía and Puerto de Mazarrón due to the flooding of some streets.
The Aemet highlights the probability of significant rainfall in the Guadaletín Valley, Lorca and Águilas (80mm of water in 12 hours) and Northwest (60mm in 12 hours). As for the coastal phenomena in Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón, they will begin around 3:00 p.m. on Thursday and will end at dawn on Friday. The Aemet warns of intervals of force 7 wind from the northeast and waves of up to three meters.
