The voice of conscience in the Rai home
It is not elegant to remember it, but we told you so. Indeed, written. Our newspaper was the first to anticipate the sensational postponement of Parliament’s vote for the choice of 4 of the seven members of the Rai Board of Directors (click here to read the article).
Too many unresolved issues to allow deputies and senators to write the name to put in the ballot boxes of their respective halls. And so, after tight and sudden majority meetings, here is the choice to move the agenda by a week, next July 14th. To date, the situation does not seem very different from that anticipated in our previous article.
Lega and PD are ready to have their candidates elected (Igor De Biasio and Francesca Bria), the 5 Star Movement is finding the right place after the star wars between Conte and Grillo, Fratelli d’Italia asks for confirmation from Giampaolo Rossi (who would be also went to the hearing among the upper forces of the force), but Forza Italia, burned by the previous axis between the Meloni man and the pentastellato CEO Fabrizio Salini, would prefer a trusted advisor like Simona Agnes.
The pieces of the puzzle are currently on the table, the parties have not yet confronted each other and it will inevitably be up to the national leaders to unravel the problem. On 12 July, two days before the vote in Parliament, the Rai shareholders’ meeting will take place. Who knows whether Prime Minister Draghi does better than the Chamber and Senate, indicating the names of the CEO and the president for that circumstance.
