On the social network, the comedian posted “MY PEOPLE I DIDN’T LOSE ANYTHING”. And in the comments he added, but without giving much explanation, “Passing on to reassure everyone who’s been sending me a message, thank you for the love, BOYFRIENDI didn’t LOSE it, I wasn’t harmed at any time and everything will be resolved”.
According to the column by journalist Leo Dias, R$1.2 million were invested in six investments, from August 2020 to March 2021. The contract provided for a 10% return on the amount invested, which would be transferred monthly.
In the scheme, GAS Consultoria Bitcoin claimed to trade with the cryptocurrency, but used the money to supply a pyramid, discovered by the Federal Police’s Operation Kryptus, in August. The company was headed by Glaidson Acácio dos Santos, known as the “Pharaoh of Bitcoin”.
Alone, Glaidson owned companies worth around R$136 million – two of them are in Rio and two in São Paulo
