Mexico.- This Wednesday, the former governor of the state of Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz Coppeldenied having betrayed the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), while rejecting the possibility of resigning from the tricolor.
The foregoing after President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) proposed him to be the Ambassador of Mexico in Spain when he still held the position of State Executive of Sinaloa.
This day, on the eve of his appearance before the European Foreign Relations Committee at the Upper House of the Congress of the Unionwhich will take place this Thursday, Ordaz Coppel arrived at Sedo to deliver his work plan as diplomatic representative of the Mexican Republic in the European country.

Said document was requested by the Commission chaired by the morenista Héctor Vasconcelos, as part of the process for the confirmation of his appointment by the senators.
In a short interview Quirino Ordaz denied having betrayed the PRIat the same time that he announced that it is not in his plans to renounce the militancy that led him to be governor of the state of Sinaloa, although he maintained that his expulsion from said political force will be a decision of the National Executive Committee (CEN).
Meanwhile, the PRI senator, Manuel Añorve, reminded the legislators of Brunette that, before the intermediate elections that took place in 2021, they criticized Ordaz Coppel, while after the elections, “they are purifying” him.
“That now we are in the world upside down, (the Morena senators) first criticized him before the elections, that he was a PRI governor and now it turns out that they are already purifying Quirino, and in the case of Claudia (Pavlovich) to She has already been purified because she arrives directly in Barcelona”, criticized the PRI.

The appointments designated by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador for the different Mexican embassies and consulates abroad have been widely criticized, both by opposition political actors and by Mexican career diplomats. The latter, above all, have pointed out that the people suggested by the head of the Federal Executive Power do not have the requirements for said positions.
