Quirinale, Silvio Berlusconi’s Christmas gifts with “Colle vista”
Silvio Berlusconi is increasingly determined for the race to Quirinale. The leader of Come on Italy strongly wants the place of Sergio Mattarella and for months now he has been implementing a strategy to become the next President of the Republic. Berlusconi – reads on Repubblica – on the occasion of Christmas has decided to pay homage to several parliamentarians, ministers and party leaders, but also entrepreneurs and journalists, dozens of paintings taken from his art collection, the “Picture Gallery of Villa San Martino”. Different authors but thematic works: a representation of Venice arrived to all recipients of the cadeaux. An initiative that the president of Come on Italy he anticipated to the guests of the center-right summit held in Villa Grande, on the Appia Antica, last Wednesday.
In addition to the center-right leaders present at Villa Grande (Salvini, Meloni, Tajani, Lupi, Cesa, Toti), – continues Repubblica – the Knight has in fact paid homage to members of other parties including the minister, and former political leader of the 5Stelle, Luigi Di Maio. The paintings as a gift, some already sent and others leaving today, are part of one image strategy which has seen the attendance of Berlusconi on social networks. The former prime minister is convinced that he can fish well beyond the center-right basin, that he can attract 150 major voters from other political forces represented in Parliament. Negotiations that continue concealed, in view of the convening of the Parliament in joint session that the President of the Chamber will hold on January 4th. And waiting for the outlines of the strange duel, only officially never taken off, between Dragons And Berlusconi.
