The Chilean musician Quique Neira returns to bet on a second Luis Miguel classic and presents “Until you forget me”, a new single for his album Cover me again. A few years ago, the artist shook music platforms with “Guilty or not”, which became a hit.
“After covering him for the first time, I began to admire Luis Miguel. Before I didn’t listen to him carefully, but after “Guilty or not” I observed his music and his career in a different way. I am an admirer of his talent and the fortitude he needed to become who he is in Latin American music.”, Mentioned the artist.
“Until you forget me” is the work of Juan Luis Guerra and achieved great success when it was performed by the ‘Sol de México’. It reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart in the United States and has been considered one of the most transcendent romantic hymns in the history of Latin music.
For this reason, Quique Neira, with this version, affirmed that he wants to pay tribute to the singer.
“This song ‘Until you forget me’ I made it for the sake of it and it is also a tribute to the maestro Juan Luis Guerra, composer of such a beautiful piece ”, he said.
This album includes other “Forgive me” by Camilo Sesto, “Continue living without your love” by Spinetta, “Together with you” by Ben E. King and “Angel from the past” by Natalio.
