Queen Elizabeth II: a Queen who lived 70 years of reign and who, at the ripe old age of 96, left us. In the others sectors of iCrewPlay we paid homage to it by talking about what it represented for the world of literature, the world of cinema and the videogame sector. But what about the technology? Well, we too have something to say in remembrance of a great ruler who, since yesterday, has ended an era.
The much loved sovereign, for the uninitiated, has always been in step with technology so much that she is an example for all those who look towards the future of the world. Starting with her coronation, in 1953, that it was broadcast live on television, gathering millions of viewers. Important data that, at the time, no one would ever have thought of collecting. The royal family itself was initially opposed to the use of this technology. Elizabeth II, however, no e this was the first step to bring her closer to her subjects.

The sovereign also seems to have been one of the first people to have used e-mails!
