Quarrel in the street for a reprimand. He takes a knife and kills it
A fight in the street ends in tragedy in Bergamo. A young Tunisian of only 34 years, legally resident in our country, was killed from an Italian little more than a boy, he is just 19 years old, for a very banal discussion. The two – according to the Press – had pushed each other on the sidewalk, near the Bergamo railway station, in the presence of the victim’s Italian companion and his two girls, one of them on a stroller. But what could have sparked such a murderous rampage? The carabinieri of the provincial command of Bergamo are working to try to understand what really happened. The crime took place around 1.15pm.
At the origin – continues La Stampa – there seems to be a reproach to the nineteen year old because walking in a hurry he touched the two daughters of the Tunisian’s companion. The killer experienced these words as a reproach, an outrage to be avenged in the most cruel way. He went up to his house, near via Novelli, and came back down with a switchblade. It all took place in a matter of minutes. A madness consummated in a very short time. The victim’s companion does not rest easy: “You can’t die like this, my Marouan didn’t deserve such a cruel end”.
