Ramzan Kadyrov has apparently heard rumors about his poor health. He now proved his physical fitness on Russian TV.
Grozny – Ramzan Kadyrov is considered a “bloodhound” by Kremlin ruler Vladimir Putin. As president, he rules Chechnya, an autonomous republic of the Russian Federation, with brutal means. As a despot, you should be physically fit, because rumors alone about a possible weakness can be detrimental to the rule. Apparently Kadyrov was now forced to refute rumors about his health.

According to a report by the Internet portal t-online the 46-year-old answered questions from citizens and journalists in a television program. In a video that Kadyrov distributed on Telegram, excerpts from the program are shown.
In the program, he initially answered questions on current topics for around two and a half hours. He promised foreign students whose parents are unable to send them money because of Western sanctions to deal with the problem. He also praised himself for allegedly sending 200 percent more volunteers into the war than planned, even without mobilization. Finally, Kadyrov also showed that he is physically fit.
Putin’s “bloodhound” Kadyrov does push-ups on state TV: “Excellent physical condition”
“At the end of the straight, I even had to show off my excellent physical condition and do push-ups from the floor to eliminate rumors of my being unwell,” he wrote aloud t-online on Telegram. On the show, he urged viewers not to gossip about his health. The video shows him lying on the floor and doing push-ups. Then he gets up to applause from the audience.
Kadyrov also made an inglorious name for himself in the Ukraine war because his soldiers are considered particularly brutal. Only recently did he threaten to send insurgents to Ukraine. However, his troops in Ukraine appear to have suffered a setback. Kyiv claims to have killed many Chechens by artillery strikes.
Although he also criticizes Putin, the Russian President treats him kindly. The Kremlin chief promoted Kadyrov to colonel general in early October. This is the third highest office in the Russian army after marshal and army general.
