Putin: Russian fuel and energy complex feels confident despite sanctions
At a meeting on the implementation of the Murmansk LNG project, Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the work of the Russian fuel and energy complex (FEC) under sanctions. According to the head of state, despite the “openly hostile actions of a number of countries, illegal and endless restrictions and sanctions,” Russian oil and gas companies generally feel confident.
According to the Russian leader, the business is currently developing, confidently solving the tasks it faces, including in the field of foreign trade: finding new reliable partners and rebuilding logistics routes.
Putin stressed that a number of major projects are being implemented in Russia in the field of oil and gas production and processing. “These are basic projects for the further development of the industry, as well as for many regions of the country,” the president said.
