Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on a set of socio-economic measures to support citizens and businesses under sanctions. Relevant Document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
The bill allows the introduction of a moratorium on scheduled inspections of small and medium-sized enterprises in 2022, as well as organizations in the field of information technology until the end of 2024. The text of the document also states that in order to obtain the status of a participant in a free economic zone in Crimea, an organization registered outside it will only need to have a representative office or branch on the peninsula.
The anti-crisis package of measures will also expand the powers of the Russian government: this year it will be able to allow operations without renewing a license, the public procurement process will be simplified, and the Cabinet will have the right to promptly raise pensions. In addition, the introduction of new credit holidays was announced. Those whose income has fallen by more than 30 percent will be eligible for deferred payments.
The law containing a set of funds to support business and the population was previously adopted by the State Duma.
