“Russia stands for the broadest possible international debate on the parameters of interaction in the emerging multipolarized world and is open to discussing issues related to the construction of a new world order,” the head of the Kremlin said at an international forum in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan .
In the speech, broadcast live on Russian state television, Putin highlighted that “the world faces unprecedented threats generated by fractures of civilizations and interethnic and interreligious conflicts” and “international relations have entered an era of global and fundamental changes.”
In this context, the Russian dictator said that a “new world order is being built, which reflects the entire diversity of the planet, a natural and irreversible process”, something that he has long defended with China and allied countries.
The international forum “The connection of times and civilizations is the basis of peace and development”, held in Ashgabat, is dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy.
In parallel to the forum, Putin will meet this Friday with the president of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, with whom he will discuss the state of bilateral relations and the situation in the Middle East, according to the Kremlin, headquarters of the Russian regime.
