Putin responded with irony to the image of him in the Western press as a villain
Russian President Vladimir Putin reacted with irony to his cartoons in the Western press, saying that “let them be afraid.” He mentioned this during a conversation with the heads of the largest international news agencies at SPIEF, writes RIA News.
“They draw correctly, let them be afraid, that’s right,” Putin emphasized.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin said that Russia does not have any imperial ambitions. Also earlier, the head of the Russian Federation said that Russia was forced to defend its future, sovereignty and people by armed means.
At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which started on June 5, clothes with quotes from Russian President Vladimir Putin were presented. In total, visitors were offered three options for the item and a variety of quotes to choose from, which were immediately printed on the fabric.
