In Russia, in the near future, the minimum wage (minimum wage), the living wage, salaries of state employees, as well as all social benefits, including pensions, will increase. This was announced on Wednesday, March 16, by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

We will raise the minimum wage and the subsistence minimum, as well as increase salaries in the public sector,” the Russian leader said during a meeting on socio-economic support for the country’s regions.
According to the president, this task is not only economic in nature, but also “is a matter of social justice.”
In addition, Putin instructed the government to calculate the exact parameters of such an increase, and also stressed that “even in the current difficult situation, we need to reduce poverty and inequality by the end of the year.” He called the corresponding task quite realizable.
The head of state also instructed the government to quickly analyze the effectiveness of measures to support people who have lost their jobs.
Earlier, on March 8, Putin signed the law on anti-crisis measures.
According to the innovation, the government gets the opportunity to carry out additional indexation of insurance pensions, the pension coefficient and the fixed payment to pensions during 2022. It also describes the features of establishing the subsistence minimum in Russia and calculating the minimum wage.
