Russian President Vladimir Putin slammed his fist on the table while talking about working conditions for miners during a meeting on the situation in the coal industry.
“They are taking risks. And we all together must create such conditions that there is no need to take risks. This was the meaning of our decisions in 2010, ”said the Russian leader, banging his fist on the table.
He also noted that it is necessary to change the structure of the remuneration of miners, excluding payments depending on the output from the conditionally constant component.
Putin pointed out that the current pay system for miners creates economic incentives for them to neglect safety requirements.
“And you can’t blame them for that. Family people need to feed. They take risks. And all of us together must create such conditions that there is no need to take risks, ”said the head of state.
The President of the Russian Federation recalled the agreement that the conditionally constant component in the structure of miners’ wages should be at least 70%.
