A 30-year-old Colombian tourist died after being swept away by a river current in Peñuelas, in southern Puerto Rico, where rescue teams are still looking for a second woman on Tuesday.

The woman’s body was located last Sunday, but it was not until this Tuesday that the Puerto Rican Police identified her in a statement as Jackeline Lasso, of Colombian nationality.
Several people were affected by the flood when they were in the La Soplaera puddle, in Peñuelas.
The emergency services rescued four people from the puddle who were on a stone and a man from the river.
The search continues for another 23-year-old woman who, like Lasso, was swept away by the flood.

The Emergency Management and Disaster Administration Bureau (NMEAD) reported on its Twitter account that on this day the search work in La Soplaera was resumed.
Work had to stop at a certain time on Monday because a trough caused heavy rain and dangerous conditions in the bodies of water.
