Puebla will seek to establish coordination with Tlaxcala to combat crimes of high social impact that afflict the societies of both states, such as human trafficking and drug dealing, the governor projected Miguel Barbosa Huerta.
At a press conference, the president said he saw a “close coordination” with his elected counterpart and party partner, Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros, since she is a person whom he appreciates and has known for years.
“I am certain that there will be close coordination because the governor (Lorena Cuéllar) is an honest person, with integrity, with very strong personal ethics and morals and very close to us, she is someone whom I appreciate very much, we have known each other for many years to solve things together. “
He commented that if crimes such as human trafficking or drug dealing appear with an increase in incidence in the figures that the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (SESNSP) presents every month it is because his government arrests criminals and dismantles gangs dedicated to both crimes.
He described as “shameful” that there are people dedicated to promoting human trafficking and assured that women who offer sex service in the Historic Center of the capital are victims of that crime.
“There are more folders because there is a fight against this shameful crime (human trafficking), all crimes are shameful, but this crime that has implications of poverty, social, subjugation, even slavery, mafias against women, we are attacking from the roots, investigating and arresting criminals, mafias that are dedicated to that “.
He added that there are agreements with Eduardo Rivera Pérez, elected mayor of Puebla, so that when he begins his administration, the strategy to combat insecurity in all areas is continued.
