Eman Turki, a health educator, head of the programs department in the Health Education Department of the Supreme Family Council, and a number of nutritionists confirmed to Al-Ittihad the importance of this period, which has a significant impact on children, as she referred to some guidelines and advice that help our student children improve their performance. Turki said: “During the testing period, we can focus more on the quality of nutrition we provide to our children, as it is possible to eat small healthy meals during the day to give the student continuous energy during the day and to stay away from fatty and high-calorie foods, as they increase the rate of inactivity and laziness, as well as Avoiding foods high in sugars, as they affect the normal blood sugar levels, and avoiding dehydration by drinking water, fresh drinks or aromatic drinks such as tea, anise and chamomile,
She pointed out that social communication is one of the behaviors that help calm, relax and relieve stress, by sharing with others what the student feels or worries about and developing appropriate joint solutions.
Turki stressed that stress control is one of the most important factors affecting the student’s ability to study well and perform in the required manner, so it is necessary to work on reducing nervous tension by following instructions that help you: Divide lessons into small sections so that they are easy to complete and study, and when Facing a certain complex in solving a problem, it can be left and start thinking about something else or practice mental relaxation and deep breathing exercises, and then return actively to thinking about solving the problem.
