Here’s what’s new on PS5.
The firmware beta test PS5 began to be made available a few days ago to selected participants, bringing innovations in the interface and in the accessibility settings. Among the novelties, attention is drawn to the possibility of fixing the icon PS Plus on the home screen, in order to facilitate access to the service for subscribers.
According to a screenshot shared by Twitter user “ErFanManavi”, the beta placed the PS Plus card next to the PS Store entry. Therefore, it is not necessary for the player to navigate the menu and interact with the library or shop to redeem the monthly games and titles from the Plus Collection. A small but important change because it puts the subscription service in the foreground.
In a shared statement on the PlayStation Blog, Sony revealed the content featured in the beta to select participants. According to the company, party mode, voice chat functionality, quick access to Share Play, additional filters in the library and much more will be tested.
