Denis Protsenko, the chief physician of the hospital No. 40 in Kommunarka, dispelled the myth of coronavirus infection after vaccination. According to the doctor, the suggestion that COVID-19 can be contracted after vaccination is “speculation of anti-axers” informs RBC.
Protsenko said that the thesis of COVID-19 infection after vaccination is contrary to logic. He stressed that a person can be considered fully vaccinated only after 14 days after the introduction of the second component of the drug. However, it is after the first stage of vaccination that people “tend to relax” and “feel like they are in armor,” although immunity to the virus has not yet formed by this time.
“With all my normal human, non-medical logic, I cannot understand how you can get infected with a fragment of the vaccine,” said Protsenko.
The physician also called speculation an active discussion that those who do not want to be vaccinated are infringed on their rights. According to Protsenko, it is now possible to work remotely, in addition, there are food delivery services, which are “freedoms.” “But why, for the sake of your freedoms, should I be at risk myself, risk my elderly parents?” – the doctor was indignant.
Earlier, Protsenko named a way to defeat the pandemic. In his opinion, only vaccination is the key to victory over the coronavirus.
