Protesters took to the streets of Brasília on Saturday afternoon, 24, to protest against Jair Bolsonaro’s government. The act began with a concentration of people and sound cars at the beginning of the Esplanada dos Ministérios, in front of the National Library. Then the protesters walked with signs and posters towards the National Congress.
In addition to “outside, Bolsonaro”, with the defense of the president’s impeachment process, protesters criticized the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), and the proposal to implement the printed vote, the flag of Bolsonaro.
Acts against the government were registered in other capitals of the country and the world. The movements are supported by opposition social and political movements.
PT’s national president, Deputy Gleisi Hoffmann (PR), participates in the act in Brasília. The parliamentarian published photos and broadcast live from the protest site. “It’s the people on the street because of a vaccine in their arms, food on a plate and out of genocide”, he wrote on his social networks. Other politicians also participated in demonstrations in other states of the country this Saturday.
