On November 22, opposition leaders led by Saakashvili burst into the parliament building with roses in their hands, forcing the then acting President of Georgia Eduard Shevardnadze to interrupt his speech and leave the hall. During negotiations with Saakashvili, Shevardnadze resigned.
Earlier, the Minister of Health of Georgia Yekaterina Tikaradze assessed Saakashvili’s treatment at the hospital. According to her, the best doctors of the country follow the politician, he is provided with everything necessary. Saakashvili was hospitalized after being detained for several weeks.
