Neighbors, users and representatives of the Coag, Asaja and UPA organizations denounce that it is “impassable”
The residents and users of the road that connects the town of Jumilla with the town of Fuente Álamo in La Mancha, together with representatives of the three agricultural organizations, Coag, Asaja and UPA, have staged a rally at kilometer 0 of this road in which they have expressed their complaints and claims so that, once and for all, “the Community fixes this road that is in a third world state,” they lament. One of the spokesmen for the neighbors, José López, indicates that the road is “impassable” and the last straw has been the installation of some signs that have been placed at the exit of Jumilla, “where we are advised to go elsewhere, admitting that the road is not in conditions» to be used.
However, the protesters have also taken the opportunity to request the City of Jumilla the arrangement of rural roads in the area. “The Community is responsible for the signs and the state of the roads, but the City Council is responsible for the state of many roads, which are very deteriorated and in a state of total abandonment.”
