The labor skills improvement program of the Federation of Women’s Organizations celebrates its third edition with 15 students
The 15 participants in the third edition of Proyecto Carmen took a new step yesterday to open their way in the world of entrepreneurship by listening to the experiences of successful businesswomen like Verónica Acosta, from the Futuro Imperfecto bookstore, and managing themselves in the world of finance with the financial director Ana Trenza. The members of the project respond to different professional profiles, but have in common the difficulty to enter the labor market. “We want those who have the itch to undertake to receive an energy shot and, at the same time, give visibility to the women entrepreneurs of Lorca and the region,” José Luis Izaguirre, from the Ecaleco Lab consultant for Equality, told LA VERDAD. which collaborates with the Federation of Women’s Organizations in the development of the Carmen Project.
The three-month program will end on December 22 and the students will acquire the necessary skills to access the job market through motivational workshops and digital skills, in addition to establishing contacts with the business fabric of the municipality for the search of employment. Four of them have already found work.
