Several job offers hint at the game: the shooting and close combat system is also being improved.
We know very few details about Project 007, beyond that it is the new direction that IO Interactive, creators of the Hitman saga, have taken. But the job offers from the studios give us again clues about what is to come with this new adventure based on James Bond that, at the moment, does not have a definitive name.
There are various profiles open on the IO Interactive website to which you can apply if you consider yourself suitable. We are reviewing the job descriptions, which give us clues about what this new adventure can be about. And it seems that will have certain similarities with Hitman. At the end of the day, they are two spy games and the formula has gone well for the Scandinavian team.
They would be working on new shooting and melee systemsFor example, one of the jobs for an audio director suggests that it will be “a narrative game with sandbox style stories”. A methodology very similar to that of the last installments starring Agent 47. Although the descriptions also show that the adventure will have a cut and a more cinematic style, to fit into the Bond origin story that they want to tell to start a trilogy.
If we continue scratching we also see that the Senior Gameplay Producer post indicates that the studio is creating prototypes for a new shooting and cover system and close combat. A fact that needed to improve the Hitman saga and that is almost imperial in a title based on the British spy universe. We will have to wait until they give us a license to know new details.
