He announced that for this purpose they will ask Governor Rubén Rocha Moya for a hearing before the President of the Republic to meet a commission made up of representatives of State agricultural producer organizations on his next visit to Sinaloa, where the need will be based. that your government establish as soon as possible the guarantee prices of 7,000 and 8,000 pesos for the ton of Corn and Wheat for this 2022/23 agricultural cycle.
He explained that if this is not achieved, on April 1 they will demonstrate by placing the machinery on the side of the main highways along the agricultural valleys of the State, with messages alluding to the request for guaranteed prices.
Another of the agreements reached is to undertake on April 10, in the event that the lack of a favorable response to the requests for guarantee prices for Corn and Wheat persists, demonstrations through slow transit in the producers’ vehicles, starting in the Valley of the carrizo in the municipality of Ahome and concluding with a rally at the monument to Emiliano Zapata “El caballito” in the city of Culiacán.
He pointed out that if there is no response, they will be forced to radicalize the demonstrations with an indefinite takeover of the Culiacán International Airport.
