An attack carried out on Thursday by the artillery of pro-Russian separatist militias on a hospital in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk region left at least five civilians dead and injured 10 others.

According to regional authorities, the bombing took place in the town of Ugledar, which is located about 30 kilometers from the separation of forces line. According to initial information about what happened, among the injured, some in serious condition, are six doctors from the hospital.

Although the Russian Defense Ministry and authorities in the breakaway republics of Donetsk and Lugansk have denied it, the Uranian government has denounced bombings against civilian targets.

Earlier, it was reported that a cyclist had died in an artillery attack by pro-Russian militias against the town of Umani, where there is a Ukrainian military base.
