Private Division expands.
Private Divisionthe publishing house of Take-Two, announced new agreements with four other independent studios. It is about Die Gute Fabrik, Evening Star, Small Studio And Yellow Brick Gamesstudios that according to Michael Worosz, executive vice president and director of the Private Division, “are developing titles that represent a wide range of genres to cover a diverse industry audience.”
Small Studiofor example, is the Barcelona-based studio that released Arise: A Simple Story in 2019 and is currently working on a new IP with Private Division. Evening Star is the studio founded by several developers who have worked on Sonic Mania Plus. Its first game has not yet been officially announced, but it will be a 3D action platformer that uses its own engine, the Star Engine.
Die Gute Fabrikfounded in 2008, is responsible for Mutation, an award-winning title at the Indiependent Games Festival and the Indiependent Games Festival 2019. Its creative director, Hannah Nicklin, said that “we are thrilled to see how much Private Division shares our philosophy on experience. we want to create for our audience and the values we work with in the process. We are excited about our next adventure game and the team we have put together to develop it and can’t wait to say more about it. “
Finally, Mike Laidlaw, creative director of Yellow Brick Gamesadded: “We want to do something very special for our first title and collaborating with Private Division gives us the support to create a truly memorable video game”, in reference to the RPG they are preparing.
