Princess Leonor arrives tomorrow in Brazil after 21 days of crossing aboard Elcano

After three weeks of journey through the Atlantic Ocean, the Juan Sebastián de Elcano Navy School ship prepares to get to Puerto this Friday. Brazil will be the first stop in America of Princess Leonor and her companions.

The ship left on January 11 of the Port of Cádiz and its first syllasture went to the Canary Islands, where it stopped in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It was on January 23 when the crossing began to cross the Atlantic Ocean to South America.

The Juan Sebastián de Elcano school ship performs its XCVII instruction cruise, with 76 guardian on board, including the Princess of Asturias, who follows in the footsteps of her father studying three years of formation in the Armed Forces.
