Prime minister Sanna Marin (sd) will meet with the German Chancellor next week in Berlin Angela Merkelin and the Social Democrats forming a new government in the country Olaf Scholz. Marin will visit Germany on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Prime Minister’s Office informs.

Merkel, representing the center-right CDU, under German leadership, is coming to an end. There will be a government negotiator in the country, after which Merkel will step aside. Scholz is taking his place.

Marin attends the World Health Summit in Berlin on Tuesday, where he will make the opening remarks for the closing session of the meeting.

On the way, Marin will also meet the Director-General of the WHO Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesusin.
