Parishioners who were inside the Temple of San Francisco de Asís in Tehuacán, They noticed that a homeless man was stealing coins from one of the piggy banks that is inside that religious enclosure.
As they approached the place where the needy was, they realized that he had a thread to which he had attached a magnet and it is through this that he stole the coins from the piggy bank.
At this they proceeded to arrest him; later they gave notice to the Municipal Police and the priest who is responsible for that enclosure.
Two patrols of the Municipal Police with elements on board arrived in front of the temple of San Francisco that is in the first street of Agustín A. Cacho to take knowledge of the case that was denounced.
Upon arrival they had contact with the homeless man, a man in his 50s, who they said was stealing coins from the piggy bank.
It was then that the priest responsible for the temple arrived, who asked the elements of the Municipal Police not to arrest the man, because if he was stealing, “it was out of hunger and need”.
Given this, the elements of the Municipal Police told the male to refrain from committing these acts, because if there is a complaint, by then he would be taken to public security.
