The head of the Department of Municipalities, Agriculture and Livestock Affairs in Sharjah said that the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah issued a decision regulating the use of agricultural lands in the Emirate of Sharjah.
He explained that leasing farms for purposes other than those for which they were allocated will have consequences for those who are not committed, as the Executive Council gave a period of six months to farm owners to adjust their situation.
He added that if the farms have any uses that are not compatible with the decision, the legislator gave the farmers a deadline to adjust their situation, provided that the municipalities carry out monitoring work to ensure the extent to which the farm owners comply with the provisions of the decision issued by the Sharjah Executive, and work to control violators of the decision.
