We dedicate this issue of Revista de Prensa to the Spanish media coverage of the police operation that caused 37 deaths on the border between the Spanish enclave of Melilla and Morocco, on the night of June 24-25. We comment on the editorial in ‘El País’, ‘Ctxt’ and the article by Olga Rodríguez in ‘elDiario.es’ which coincide in pointing out that the Spanish Government reproduces the discourse of the extreme right by praising the actions of the Moroccan police, financed through Madrid and Brussels.
