There is a majority clash over the reform of justice. According to majority parliamentary sources, the text of the law that bears the signature of Minister Marta Cartabia should not go to the CDM tomorrow or in any case should not be approved. The positions on the prescription are still far away. The Five Stars defend the reform of Alfonso Bonafede and ask for the approval to be postponed to the council.
This morning they held a meeting which, according to the agency Dire, was attended by the head of delegation Stefano Patuanelli, the undersecretary Anna Macina and the M5s members of the justice committees of the Chamber and Senate, including the former minister Alfonso Bonafede. From Grillo’s party comes a substantial ‘non expedit’ in particular to the reform of the statute of limitations, which according to the orientation of the government should provide for the adoption of a sort of ‘procedural’ prescription, with the duration of the process after the sentence of first degree of three years maximum. Meanwhile, the scheduled meeting of the control room was not held today.
