As usual, these changes will be reviewed on the test server, before going to the main one.
As normally happens every year, League of Legends prepares its preseason on the eve of the Worlds tournament, and this time we will have some interesting news. The usual is back, like item and rune changes, but something more shocking was also announced: new dragons, which will grant different rewards to the team that manages to eliminate them from the map.
The game will introduce 2 new dragonsThere will be 2 new dragons: Technochemical Dragon and Hextech Dragon. Like the rest of the dragons that appear in the games, these new additions will have an effect on the entire map when they are eliminated in battle, in addition to possessing souls that will greatly help the affected champions.
The Techno-Chemical Dragon will create gas zones in the jungle when eliminated, and champions will disappear when entering those areas. Its standard upgrade will increase your damage to champions with the highest health percentage, and the soul will give you a second life after dying.
As for the Hextech Dragon, it will summon 2 portals on opposite ends of the map, and champions will be able to use them to travel, but similar to the Teleport spell, the opponent will be able to prevent channeling with stun abilities. The upgrade will grant 5% attack speed and 5 skill speed, and the soul will give you a chaining beam to all your attacks and abilities.
There will also be rewards for objectivesThe 2022 preseason will also introduce rewards for objectives, but they will only be activated when one of the two teams is losing by a considerable difference, serving as a new opportunity to achieve victory. If the losing team achieves one of these objectives, the gold obtained will be distributed among all its members.
Objects and runes They will also undergo preseason changes, but there are too many to list here. If you want to know all the details, visit the official statement on the League of Legends page.
