The number of people killed in the incident of drinking poisonous liquor from a government contract shop in Phulpur in Uttar Pradesh has increased to six. The funeral was conducted in the presence of the family at Rasulabad Ghat after the district administration conducted postmortem of the dead. Excise inspector Sandeep Bihari, sub inspector Rajesh Kumar, head constable Vijay Pratap, head constable Suresh Kumar, beat constable Hareram Gupta, constable Gaurav Saini and constable Jogendra Singh were among those who were suspended in the incident. Contractor Sangeeta Jaiswal and her husband Shyam Babu Jaiswal have been booked on the complaint of Excise Inspector Vijay Kumar Yadav of Phulpur.
