On October 11, Vovan and Lexus disclosed to Izvestia the details of their conversation with Andriy Yermak, head of the office of the President of Ukraine.
As previously reported on October 11, the pranksters talked to him on behalf of ex-US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul and Yermak said that Washington’s support for Ukraine is about 70% of what is possible, while London helps Kyiv 100%.
He also admitted that he constantly puts pressure on the Ukrainian military to coordinate their actions and report to the Americans.
Vovan and Lexus said that they sent a message to Yermak on behalf of McFaul, and the head of the office of the President of Ukraine agreed to get in touch, as he personally knows the American and communicates with him regularly.
The pranksters admit that it was clear to many – in the recording of the conversation, the voice was not McFaul, but the ex-ambassador had a specific accent and Yermak believed, and the conversation was conducted both in English and in Russian.
“He (Yermak. – Ed.) told a lot of things. About the state at the front, about the fact that not everything is so good in Ukraine, air defense, weapons are not enough. And it is unlikely that they will last long with such supplies as they are now. Plus, America does not fully support them. It does not suit him – probably this is the most important thing, ”said Lexus.
Lexus clarified that in their practice there have not yet been cases when, during a conversation, the interlocutor began to suspect that he was communicating with pranksters. The exception was former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who hung up at the end of the conversation.
“The main thing here is to organize a conversation, because it can still break right at the coordination stage, when they check communication, when assistants, secretaries double-check, contact, for example, the embassy. Or they write to this real person, ”Vovan emphasized.
Within a couple of weeks, the pranksters will publish recordings of several more calls that took place.
