Ukraine’s state nuclear energy company, Energoatum, said external electricity to the Russian-occupied Zaporizhia nuclear plant was cut early Saturday due to a bombing.
Energoatom stated that the station now obtains its electricity needs from diesel-powered generators.
“The diesel generators have started automatically. The available diesel fuel supply is sufficient to run in this mode for ten days,” the company wrote on the Telegram app.
