Porto very close to finalizing the purchase of Jorge Sánchez

In the winter market Jorge Sánchez was very close to closing his departure from Porto and also to freeing himself from Ajax to sign his return to Liga MX with the Cruz Azul machine team. Thus, Sánchez already has 18 official matches with Porto, who are about to exercise the purchase obligation with Ajax, because if the former América has minutes in 20 matches in all competitions, the dragons will automatically buy the card of the defender, something that a couple of months ago seemed impossible.

Between the Cup and the League, Porto has at least 11 games left in the season that ends in the last days of May, in case Sánchez is active in at least two games, starter or substitute, it is indifferent, the dragons will be obliged to pay 4 million euros for the side's letter. This move seems imminent, what is not clear is what the club's future plans are with Jorge, considering that the team's current coach, Jorge Conceicao, will leave the team at the end of the year.
