Polls, consensus for Meloni and the government drops by 5 and 3 points
The government centre-right led by Giorgia Melons has now been in office for four months and in the electorate of centre-right the first appear alarm bells in terms of consensus. The month of January marks for the first time a bending of the appreciation for the work of the executive and the premier: i upvoteswhile continuing to prevail, they record – reads the Ipsos survey published in the Corriere della Sera – a drop by three points compared to month of December, negative ones increase by two and five points respectively. The approval rating (as always calculated by comparing the positive judgments with the negative ones, excluding those who do not express themselves), stands at 51 for the executive (-3) ea 53 for Giorgia Meloni (-5), returning to the start of mandate values.
All this is also reflected in the voting guidelines since, after the strong growth in recent months Brothers of Italy, while confirming themselves largely the first party with the 30.5%, shows a decline (-1.2). Instead, – continues the Corriere – there is one recovery of the League which reaches 8.3% (+0.5%) and is close to the result of the policies, and of Come on Italy which rises to 6.8% (+0.6%). In the camp of the opposition the M5s consolidates the second place reaching the 18.2% (+0.6%), a result that had been missing since the fall of 2020. Following the Pd which, following the pre-congress debate, seems to have stopped the negative trend of the last few months reaching the 16.4%then the Third pole with the 7.1% and the Verdi Alliance, the Italian Left and Civic Networks with the 4.1%. Up two points the abstention area and the indecision that affects more than two out of five Italians (41.2%).
