Political scientist, professor of the Department of Comparative Political Science at RUDN University Yuriy Pochta appreciated the proposal of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to hold a summit with Russian and American leaders Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden. His words leads Sputnik radio.
The expert noted that without a clear agenda for the meeting, the trilateral Russia-US-Ukraine summit would make no sense. He pointed out that France and Germany do not suit Kiev as participants in the Normandy format, as they insist on observing the Minsk agreements.

“Without a clear program of the meeting, without concrete ideas on the implementation of the Minsk agreements, it is pointless to meet, and if you look at the current political situation in Ukraine, then it is very far from finding ways to resolve the Donbass,” the Post emphasized.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky approached his American counterpart Joe Biden with a proposal to organize trilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to Andriy Yermak, head of the office of the Ukrainian president, Kiev is now awaiting a response from Moscow.
