Police received information about a potentially dangerous person in Järvenpää on the night between Thursday and Friday.
Commissioner on duty Tuukka Skottman The Helsinki Police Department confirms that the police had an operation on Välskärinkatu in Järvenpää.
Police went to the scene to inspect the private apartment, but the wanted person was not there.
Skottman shortly after three in the morning that the operation was over. According to him, the person was not and is not a danger to bystanders.
“The danger was specific,” Skottman said. He could not open the matter further for investigative reasons.
Police are continuing to investigate the matter.
