Zacatecas.- A Zacatecas prison policeman was murdered this Thursday and another one was injured after an armed attack on federal highway 45 in the municipality of Guadalupe, located 10 kilometers from the capital.
The attack was carried out while both uniformed men, who were frank, were driving in a black Tsuru-type vehicle, when armed men shot at the driver.
Upon being hit, the policeman lost control of the unit and it overturned, according to reports from the Public Security Spokesperson.
After being alerted, the authorities went to the site as well as emergency elements who treated the injured person and confirmed the death of his companion.
The area was cordoned off so that experts could lift the body to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo).
With this crime total four murders against security elements of Zacatecas in 24 hours, after triple homicide which was reported last Wednesday in Bonnet.
On that occasion, the bodies of the uniformed men were located in a sand-colored van next to the Chalchihuites bypass, reported the Mayor of the Magical Town, Alan Murillo.
Northeast Cartel Threatens Zacatecas
