Through a short and concise tweet Blastoise’s release date has been announced on Pokémon Unite, a character expected by many fans who will take the role of defender, therefore able to suffer a lot of damage. It will therefore be possible to take advantage of this water pokémon starting from next September 1st, or next week.
In the middle of this month, Sylveon and Memoswine were also revealed, together with the release date for mobile set for next September 22nd, but without a date for the arrival of the two new characters. The arrival of Blastoise has been awaited by many fans, also because it was one of the pokémon that most appeared in the gameplay of the beta in the months before the official release of the game.
After the recent arrival of Blissey, Blastoise will be the 23rd pokémon available in the arena, with the arrival of many other playable characters in anticipation, at least as stated by the company itself. The arrival soon also on mobile, which will introduce crossplay, will allow to expand even more the available audience.
Furthermore, just to celebrate the release also on mobile devices, the official account confirmed the overtaking of 2.5 million pre-registrations on iOS and Android, which unlock the Pikachu license for everyone. The next goal is set for the 5 million pre-registered users, who will go to unlock a special outfit for the electric pokémon.
