The weekend of June 1st and 2nd Bologna Fiere will be transformed into the stage of the Pokémon Special Championship 2024, an event that promises to warm the souls of fans of the franchise. This year, the event will not only mark the pinnacle of the European competitive season but will also offer players the opportunity to earn valuable Championship Points. Trainers of the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games on Nintendo Switch and players of Pokémon GO and the Pokémon Trading Card Game will have access to thelast great chance to accumulate the points needed to secure an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships in Hawaii in August. The championship offers prizes of 200 Championship Points for the first place, 160 for the second finalist and 130 for the Top 8. The winner of the tournament will also get a direct invitation to the World Championships final in Honolulu.
In addition to the official competitions, the Pokémon Special Championship offers a specially designed entertainment area for casual and younger players. This Fun Area will allow everyone to enjoy the Pokémon world through interactive activities such as board games, origami and much more. While for those who cannot attend in person, the event will be broadcast live on Cydonia_Chiara’s Twitch channelallowing fans from around the world to join in on the action from the comfort of their homes.
