According to the well-known YouTuber Austin John Plays the western version of the trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet presented yesterday maybe it was recorded using a old build of the two games.
As reported in a previous news, in the last video, fans have spotted 5 unreleased Pokémon not yet officially announced. Oddly, these five creatures are instead completely absent in the trailer posted on the Japanese YouTube channel of the series.
Another important difference between the two versions of the video, is that in the Japanese one, the sequence where the player runs together with Sunflora is visually better. As we can see in the tweet below, in the western trailer the Pokémon feature animations clearly less fluid and therefore more unpleasant than the Japanese one.
According to Austin John Plays, therefore, The Pokémon Company may have decided to re-record the trailer for the Japanese market to eliminate any reference to the aforementioned unpublished creatures and that in doing so it used a more recent build of Scarlet and Violet better optimized from the graphic point of view.
Keep in mind that at the moment this is just unofficial speculation from The Pokémon Company, so take it all with a grain of salt.
Before leaving, we remind you that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will be available starting November 18, 2022. Here are all the details on the price, editions and booking bonuses of the two new ninth generation games.
