The Pokémon Company has announced the events that will be available in May in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and in Pokémon SLEEP. It starts with the ninth generation pair of titles, which will receive a new one Teracristal Raid entirely dedicated to Primarina. It will be possible to battle the Solo Pokémon from May 10th to 12th and again from May 17th to 19th.
Starting from today until May 13th it will instead be available in Pokémon SLEEP there Fire Week, where it will be easier to meet monsters of the same element. This is a great way to prepare for the event Research on Entei which will be released in the future.

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet
Primarina will appear in Teracristal Raids originating from black crystals from Friday, May 10, 2024 at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, May 12, 2024 at 11:59 PM UTC, then again from Friday, May 17, 2024 at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 11 PM :59 UTC.
Normally it is not possible to meet Primarina in Paldea, and the one that will appear during this event is of the Folletto teratype. Prepare to face this formidable opponent, who not for nothing bears the Emblem of Absolute Strength! Work together with your friends to KO this powerful Teracristal Pokémon!
This special Primarina can only be captured once per saved game. If you have already captured it in a past Teracristal Raid event, you cannot capture it again. However, you can participate in other Teracristal Raids against the Pokémon to earn additional rewards even after you catch it.
This Primarina may appear in future events or new ways to obtain it may be introduced.
Information on Teracristal Raid events
- To participate in the Teracristal Raid events, download the latest News from the Poképortale by opening the menu with the button X and selecting PoképortalThen Secret Gift and finally Receive news from the Poképortale. To receive the latest News from the Poképortale, a paid membership to Nintendo Switch Online is not necessary.
- After completing certain events at the end of the main adventure, you will be able to find black crystals. However, players who have not completed these events will still be able to participate in Teracrystal Raids originating from black crystals by joining other Trainers in multiplayer mode.

Pokemon Sleep
The “Fire Week” event is available from today until 3:59 am on Monday 13 May in all areas!
During the event, you will be able to encounter Pokémon with various sleep types that are not related to your type, and there will be a greater chance of Fire-type Pokémon appearing. In particular, Fire-type Pokémon will have more chances to appear. Vulpix and Ninetails are now available to encounter in the game and can be found napping in some areas!
If you want to prepare for the “Research on Entei” event – during which Fire-type Pokémon will be particularly useful – we invite you to make friends with many Fire-type Pokémon!
Additionally, during this event, you will be able to use the Mini Candy feature, which doubles the effectiveness of candy used on Pokémon. An excellent opportunity to grow your Fire-type Pokémon!
