Pogba described the storming of his home while his children were sleeping as “the worst nightmare” for his family.
In an interview with the sports newspaper L’Equipe, the French star said that his family had “robbed the sense of safety,” adding that among the stolen gold medals after France won the 2018 World Cup.
On the nature of the stolen items, Pogba said: “There were jewels from my mother, and the World Cup medal. What frightened me the most was that my two children were at home with the nanny during the accident.”
He continued, “We were in a state of shock for days. The important thing in the end is that my two children are fine and unharmed.”
Pogba expressed his hope that the rest period he obtained after the robbery would revive him and renew his activity, while questions are raised about his performance and future with the “Red Devils”.
He added, “I want to have time to rest to return in the best shape to the club, and to wear the France shirt is a source of pride that I will defend strongly.”
