The jury of the “Million’s Poet” program, in its tenth season, met, over a two-day period, with poets in the State of Kuwait, via direct video communication technology, from Al Raha Beach Theater in Abu Dhabi.
The director of the Poetry Academy, a member of the program’s jury, Sultan Al-Amimi said: “The first days of the Kuwait interview were a good start, and the number of poets was large, different participations in terms of type and quality, beautiful levels, poets participating for the first time, and poets who participated in previous seasons.”
Al-Amimi added that “the committee gave comments on some of the posts, and clarified some critical aspects related to the texts that were submitted, and that the number of those who were not approved was very few, and this shows that the level of participants is satisfactory and well.”
